🐑풍성한 은혜 가운데서 하나님이 우리에게 고귀한 특권을 기꺼이 부여하셨다면,
➖그리스도인으로서의 우리는 이 특권이 무엇인지 열심히 알아보려고 추구해야 마땅하지 않을까?
➖우리가 노예인지 아들인지,
➖우리 안에 성령이 내주하시는지 안하시는지,
➖우리가 율법 아래 있는지 은혜 안에 있는지,
➖우리의 소명이 천국적인 것인지 세상적인 것인지 등에 대해서 전연
🌗무관심한 태도를 취하는 것이 우리 하나님과 또 하나님의 계시를 합당하게 대하는 것이라 할 수 있을까?
🌗결코 그렇지 않다. Surely not.
성경에서 한 가지 명백한 사실이 있다면, 그것은,
하나님께서는 하나님의 사랑의 대비책을
감사하고
즐기는 사람을 인해 기뻐하신다는 것이 즉
🐳하나님 안에서 기쁨을 누리는 자로 인해서
🐳하나님은 기뻐하신다는 것이다.

🎞️영감받은 책은 이런 것에 대한 증거로 충만하다.

If God in the aboundings of His grace, has been pleased to bestow upon us precious privileges, as Christians, ought

we not to seek earnestly to know what these privileges are?

Ought we not to seek to make them our own, in the artless simplicity of faith?

Is it treating our God and His revelation worthily, to be indifferent as to whether we are servants or sons
— as to whether we have the Holy Ghost dwelling in us or not
— as to whether we are under law or under grace
— whether ours is a heavenly or an earthly calling? Surely not.

If there be one thing plainer than another in scripture, it is this, that God delights in those who appreciate and enjoy the provision of His love — those who find their joy is Himself.
